On the 3rd of May 2018, SAFFI hosted our 3rd Annual Roundtable Consultation with the Theological Advisory Council on Gender-Based Violence focused on Marriage Preparation and Intimate Partner Abuse – Insights from Holy Scriptures and Ancient Teachings . SAFFI Patron, Rev Mpho Tutu van Furth presented the opening keynote and with significant insights from Theologians and Academics we were able to delve into the nuances of Intimate Partner Abuse from the angle of marriage preparation.
